Crossfit
CrossFit is awesome! It is a internet based way to workout. CrossFit is a very minimalistic lots of push ups, pull ups, sit ups, air squats, kettle bell swings. and few other basic moves. The workouts filter down through their main website.
9 basic movements of crossfit:
1. air squat
2. front squat
3. overhead sqaut
4. deadlift
5. sumo-deadlift high pull
6. shoulder press
7. push press
8. push jerk
9. medicine ball clean
I love their catch phrase. "A Forging Elite Fitness" Here lately this has been my choice for training for this Tough Mudder.

Running update.
My Big Dogs feel great. It really is fun to run in a new pair of shoes. I have put 6 miles on mine so far and I'm looking forward to putting many more on them.
I can't help but think of adage "if can't run with the big dogs keep your puppy #@$ on the porch".

RunKeeper App.
I have been using the runkeeper app on my iphone to track my running. Really have enjoyed tracking my miles and seeing the route on the GPS. Veiwing the route I ran on the GPS allows me to see other possible routes to take. Very fun inexpensive way to track your progress.

Runnning in the Morning
Runing was much better today then on sunday. I have been trying to work on my form to increase my efficiency. All the changes that I made seem to really help: running tall, 90 degree arms with a forward arm swing, and a shorter stride on hills.

RUN
Boy it was hot on Sunday afternoon when I went on my run. 21 minutes 2miles and 94 degrees i think. I can't stop. I have to keep doing this. No pain no gain!

Over Sleeping

Last night I completely forgot to set my alarm clock on my Iphone, thus causing me to miss my shoulders and arms workout this morning. :-/
Missing a workout can be a common mistake that can disrupt your workout routine.
If you miss a workout, SO WHAT don't let it destroy your motivation, tomorrow is a new day.
I am going to try and make up the workout tonight! Will See!
